Science Central to celebrate ‘Countdown to Noon’ on New Year’s Eve

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) — Science Central is ringing in the new year with a “Countdown to Noon” celebration on New Year’s Eve.

From 10am to 3pm on December 31, the organization will hold its annual holiday countdown, recreating the midnight countdown for those of all ages with early bedtimes.

The event, sponsored by Lake City Bank, will include a balloon drop at noon from the organization’s top level. Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in the balloon drop with a personalized wish balloon.

The event marks the start of New Year celebrations in celebration of Science Central’s 30th anniversary.

Attendees will get first access to the organization’s 30th anniversary “Stamp Rally” brochures. The “Stamp Rally” will include prizes, scavenger hunts and themed activities.
