There’s never a dull moment in the NBA and Friday night was no different.
A quarrel inside the stadium between members Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns It led to multiple expulsions in the second half.
The Mavericks led 60-44 with nine minutes and 02 seconds left in the third quarter when the fight broke out.
Here’s what happened Friday night:
Who was ejected after the Mavericks-Suns fight?
Mavericks forwards Najee Marshall and PJ Washington were ejected for their roles in the altercation. Suns center Jusuf Nurkic was also removed from the game for his actions.
What happened during the Mavericks Suns fight?
Nurkic was called for an offensive foul after pinning Mavericks center Daniel Gafford on a subsequent move.
Nurkic then walked up to Marshall and began the fight by hitting Marshall in the head. Marshall would quickly retaliate by throwing a punch at Nurkic.
Washington took care of it by pushing the big sun man to the ground.
The situation then mostly deteriorated and the players were ejected from the match.
